Asakusa 浅草

Ohayou~ ^^ Hehe.. I will go to Asakusa in a few hours with my sensei from Rikkyo Ladies Club and my classmate from China.. I just can't wait.. Well, in order to go, had to wake up early, do my laundry, breakfast and take a nice warm shower! :) I will post about the trip later~ Jya ne..

My sensei canceled the trip because she`s not feeling very well.. We will go next Friday.. Hmm.. What to do, right? My friend told me at around 10.15am.. Since I`ve prepared myself, so, it`s a waste if I don`t go out, so, I decided to go to Rikkyo`s Media Library.. Now surfing the net and will watch some DVDs later at the Media Library.. I can`t help to say that I`m quite dissapointed~ - -" がっかりした～

Holiday~ 休み～ Yasumi~

Okay, in this entry, I just would like to share about how holiday system works here in Rikkyo.. Well, since I'm from a tropical country, there's no specific season that we, Malaysian, can refer to when determining our university or school holiday.. For example, for university in Malaysia, it's holiday is somewhere around November until late December and after the second semester, it will be from end of April to end of July..

In Rikkyo university, for now, I've enjoyed 2 holidays and about to enjoy one more long holiday (I'm still shocked though.. just found out a few weeks before).. As from September, there was Fall holiday (秋休み-aki yasumi), started from 28th October to 4th November, quite a short holiday for me.. Then comes Winter holiday (冬休み-fuyu yasumi), started from 22nd December until 10th January.. It was a very enjoyable holiday for me because I went for a tour with my Malaysian friend around Tokyo.. We bought JR ticket that can be used for the whole day.. So, we used Yamanote Line.. From Ikebukuro to Shinjuku, Shibuya, Tokyo Tower, Akihabara and then back to Ikebukuro~ 楽しかった！

After winter holiday, it was time to sit for exams, pass written report and do presentation. I did Japanese grammar and writing composition exams then went for an interview with my sensei. Then, comes the presentation for a seminar class. I presented about Kanji. My last exam will be on 26th January, then the Spring holiday (holiday again??) will start until April.. Huhu..

At first, I didn't realise the holiday system worked that way but when my Japanese friend confirmed it, it was quite hard to accept at first... Well, it's a holiday! I should enjoy it! Hehe.. but the negative side for me is I don't have any plans yet for the long holiday - -"

Baito! :D

But one thing for sure, I'm pretty certain now, I can 'survive' the winter because it's holiday! haha! Winter is not fun for me.. Looking forward to it at first because I never experienced it but later, I just wish I'm back in Malaysia.. Winter in Tokyo is very dry, so, had to apply lotion and lip balm constantly.. And you can imagine how difficult it is to wake up in the morning.. Just wish I can continue my sleep inside my warm fleece blanket.. Hehe..

今回のエントリは日本語で書いた。自信がないけど、いいかな？　笑　実は、日本語を勉強する前に、中国語を勉強したが、諦めた。－－”　中国語の４つトーンが超難しかったから。でも、マレーシアの中華の新聞を読みたいと思った。「じゃ、日本語を勉強しようか？」と言った。

昨日、キロロの「未来へ」聞いた、あぁ、懐かしいな～　その曲、初めて聞いたというのはMatriculationで。もちろん、その時、歌詞の意味が全然わからなかったけど、だんだんわかって、嬉しくなる。３年ぐらいかかったよ！ハハ

Part time job バイト Baito

新年明けましてオメデトウございます! (Shin nen akemashite omedetougozaimasu!) or simply 明けオメ! (Ake ome!).. Happy New Year everyone!

Wow, it has been 4 months + since I arrived.. It's already 6 January and I'm still in my Winter holiday~ Yay! Hehe.. Rikkyo's winter holiday started on 22 December until 7 January but because there's Saturday, Sunday and Monday is a public holiday 成人の日 (seijin no hi, lit. Adult's Day), so, the holiday will be until 10th January..

Did quite a number of things in December.. Finally, I started my part time job on 22 at 目黒雅叙園 (Meguro Gajoen).. Worked as a runner.. I helped to deliver foods from the main kitchen to various halls.. It was okay for me.. Love the work.. Transport fees was fully paid and they gave free lunch too! ^^

My next job was at 新習志野 (Shin Narashino) in 千葉県 (Chiba ken).. Took nearly 1 hour and 30 minutes from Shiki.. Here is my journey planner,

From Ryugaku 留学 - Jepun

Started from Shiki - Ikebukuro (transfer to Maru no Uchi Line) - Otemachi (transfer to Tozai Line) - Nishi Funabashi (transfer to Musashino Line) and ended at Shin Narashino station.. What a journey.. I worked as a box wrapper in a warehouse.. Well, actually I don't know how to explain what I did.. hehe.. It was a great job too (transport fee and lunch provided)..
