Tobu Tojo Line:Local Train 東武東上線:普通の電車 Toubutoujyou Sen:Futsuu No Densha

I`m typing this post in Ikebukuro Campus Main Library (again).. I came to Ikebukuro to buy chicken meat from the nearby Halal shop but later decided to stop by the library to read some newspapers and magazines.

To reach here, I used Tobu Tojo Line`s local train. It`s my first time because I usually use the Semi Express train (準急 Jyunkyuu), Express train (急行 Kyuukou) or Commuter Express train (通勤急行 Tsuukin Kyuukou) to reach Ikebukuro but today I just felt like trying and I tried it ^^

The train from Shiki departed at 3:28pm,

From Ryugaku 留学 - Jepun

and as its name suggest, it stops at every station from Shiki to Ikebukuro, with the total of 13 stations.. Felt like it was a long journey but I reached Ikebukuro by 3.59pm.. By taking the Semi Express, Express and Commuter Express, the train stops at only 4 stations, 3 stations and 2 stations respectively.. And the train was almost empty at the time I entered since it`s not peak hours yet..

Shiki (志木), Asakadai (朝霞台), Asaka (朝霞), Wakoshi (和光市), Narimasu (成増), Shimo Akatsuka (下赤塚), Tobu Nerima (東武練馬), Kami Itabashi (上板橋), Tokiwadai (ときわ台), Naka Itabashi (中板橋), Ooyama (大山), Shimo Itabashi (下板橋), Kita Ikebukuro (北池袋), and finally Ikebukuro (池袋)..
